Eau Claire Golf & Country Club enjoys a long-standing reputation of possessing one of the finest and most challenging golf courses in the upper Midwest. The 18-hole, par 71 championship course is spread out over 250 acres of mature, wooded terrain, including sweeping hillsides and towering white pines.

Location: On the south shore of Lake Altoona
Description: Lake Altoona County Park offers a boat landing to provide easy access to the 840 acre lake. Facilities include a clubhouse and shelter for gatherings which can be rented, a large beach area, changing facilities, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. There are no lifeguards on duty; swimming is at your own risk. Cost is $3 per vehicle for enterance or $25 for annual pass that gets you entrance into all Eau Claire County parks.
