Saturday, June 28

Today is the Independence Day Celebration held in Cinder City Park in Altoona. The evening will conclude with fireworks around 10pm. The intersections along 10th Street West are usually very congested following the fireworks. If you can, go to 3rd Street East and then to Highway 12. It may be a bit longer but will likely be faster and reduce congestion.

Officers will be assisting with traffic direction. No parking areas have been signed to help with pedestrian and vehicle safety. Please be patient as everyone is going to or from the event. Let's have a safe Independence Day Celebration!
