Altoona flag flying again

ALTOONA (WQOW) - The giant flag in River Prairie in Altoona is finally flying high again.

The 40 by 80-foot flag was originally raised back in July but had to be taken down in September due to a broken cable on the flagpole.

The Eau Claire Veterans Foundation had to get a specialist to repair the cable. It was expected to be up again in October but it took longer than expected.
